Every year, Bath & Body Works does Candle Day-where their candles go from their $24-25 price range all the way down to $10. I don’t usually go ham on candles because I already have a lot at home, but I ended up picking up 11 candles overall combined with a few body care bits.
Here are all the candles I got! I really wanted Blackberry Creme Frosting, but it was sold out online and I couldn’t find it in-store, so maybe when there’s a new drop in store I can go grab one.
The first candle I picked up was Strawberry Sparkler, which has notes of Strawberry Prosecco, Rose Water, and Vanilla Bean. This smells a bit fizzy, but mostly fresh, and I can detect a hint of citrus in there as well.
The next candle is probably my favorite scent of this year’s winter release: Cotton Candy Champagne. It has notes of bubbly rose, sweet strawberry, and pink sugar. It smells sweet, but unlike my other gourmand scents, this one is more light.
The next candle is Mahogany Vanilla. I may gravitate towards sweet fruity scents, but I appreciate a bit of vanilla here and there. It has notes of Warm Vanilla, Fresh Bergamot, and Sweet Sandalwood, and smells mostly like a man (what I suspect Mahogany Teakwood smells like).
The Perfect Summer has notes of orange blossoms, sun-kissed citrus, and coconut husk. The orange blossom scent is very overpowering at first, but quickly settles into a tropical citrus-loaded scent.
Iced Cranberry Scone has notes of fresh cranberry, crumbly brown sugar, and sweet vanilla. It is a gourmand scent, but it’s not too strong and fits the holidays well.
Winter Peach Marshmallow has notes of Velvet Peach, Vanilla Meringue, and Creamy Jasmine and smells mostly peachy but the jasmine adds a nice mellow floral touch.
I managed to find Ice Cream Bar, which has notes of glazed chocolate wafer, vanilla ice cream, and graham cracker crunch. It actually smells smiliar to Hot Buttered Rum and any other vanilla-based gourmand candles I have.
Iced Raspberry Bellini is a new scent for the holidays and has notes of chilled prosecco, sparkling raspberry, and citrus twist. This smells very bubbly and sweet fruity.
The next candle is Paris Cafe, which was very strong, much stronger than Whipped Coffee. This has notes of rich roasted coffee, sugared brioche, and vanilla creme. This reminds me of black coffee and the way it smells.
Cranberry Peach has notes of swet peaches, tart cranberry, and sugared musk. This smells incredibly sweet, but in a fruity way.
Bowties and Bourbon is the last candle I bought and it has notes of bourbon, bergamot, and citrus. It smells
Next is the bodycare bits.
I got the White Peach Marshmallow Fine Fragrance Mist and the body cream.
I loved the Gingham scent, so I got the Gingham Heart of Gold, which has notes of crisp golden apple, creamy vanilla, and warm sandalwood.
The last thing I got was Fairytale, which has notes of pomegranate nectar, fresh orange blossom, vanilla, and warm amber.
