Hello, my loves! Some new and exciting changes are happening to the blog and here they are!
First off, you might have noticed I redid my logo and my favicon, as well as replaced the branding for almost all my social media. Welcome to Hello It’s Winnie Version 3.0 or something, lol, but this year is the year I want to take my blog seriously, so time to up my branding. I did the same thing to my gaming stuff, which you will find out on my gaming blog.
Essentially I have made all my social media less pink, with the exception of my blog because it looks pretty good using its current theme, but will still continue to post about pink things. I have recently found myself being drawn back to neutral colors like whites, blacks, burgundies, and natural greens.
The second thing is incorporating more of my nature photography onto my main Instagram account. I have a ton of floral and nature photography that I have really only been able to showcase on my photography portfolio. I want to turn my main account into a curation of the things I love to photograph as well as a place to showcase my blog posts and my photography.
Going back to basics
With the idea of blog posts getting more editorial in style, along with Youtube channels, my blog has become a little dot in a sea of overly edited, overly complex blogs. I have decided to turn my blog back to the basics of blogging when it was beginning to rise in 2014-2015 because I find those types of posts very fun to read and write. I am quite weary of the fact that our blogs now even have to look editorial just to get the tiniest bit of attention from brands, and I am planning on shying away from that and doing my own thing.
New schedule
Finally, I have started to try out a new blogging schedule, posting every Tuesday and Friday, but if things change, I might change that to posting once every Friday.
Aside from that, that’s essentially what I am changing. Thank you all for sticking with me throughout this journey, and I hope to see you guys soon!
I like your post and your blog looks really nice. As a new blogger, I like your idea for scheduling as I haven’t been posting off a schedule myself and I would love to try that out.

It sounds like you know exactly what you want out of your blog and are putting those steps into place. I am new to your site so have nothing to compare it to, but it looks nice as it is today. Generally speaking, I am new to blogging so I’ve been devouring posts about people’s blogging journey. I can say for certain that I didn’t know that there was an editorial look that was popular. I read/ comment on a lot of blogs every week and they are all so different. I haven’t really noticed any one thing stand out. I’ll have to keep an eye out.
