Hello, my loves! Today’s post will be talking about all the changes I’d make to my office if I could. My office is on the third floor, in what used to be my dad’s bedroom, and when he passed away I had the space to myself. Here is what I would do with it if I had the funds…
Remove the mirrored nook
I would remove all the mirrors on the wall in the little nook that is in this room. The house used to belong to an artist, so I understand why he needed the mirrors, but I am not an artist, so I do not need it.

Remove the shelving units/Paint them white
I would also remove the shelving units and replace them with an Ikea Pax System if I could or if I can’t remove them, at least paint them white.

Replace the countertops with marble
I know marble countertops can detract from a house’s value when it comes time to sell it, but I love the look of marble and prefer it over granite because it’s more aesthetically pleasing.

Remove the steel ladder
There is a 300-pound ladder in my office because neither myself nor my mother has the strength to move it down, and I feel like it belongs in the garage or the basement rather than in the office. I would love to get rid of it one day so I won’t have to deal with it anymore.

Do you wish you could redesign a room?

I hope you’re able to do all of these things one by one, over time!
My partner and I just switched up our bedroom, even just rearranging the furniture makes it feel fresher
Rearranging furniture always is a good way to make a space feel fresh!
