Hello, my loves! In today’s post, we’re going to be talking about my favorite candles that aren’t from Bath & Body Works!
DW Home Rose Ganache
First off, we have DW Home’s Rose Ganache candle, which is available in a lot of different formats, but I have it in this version. Rose Ganache has a sweet gourmand scent mixed with the lovely but delicate scent of roses.
I love the Birthday Cake scent from DW Home because it is a very sweet gourmand scent that smells like vanilla birthday cake. I actually heard a former coworker talk about it and decided to take her word for it and bought it, and I’m glad I did!
W&L Birthday Cake Candle
W&L (which I now learned stands for Wolf & Lamb) had a pink Birthday Cake candle that I managed to find at a Homegoods/Marshall’s and it smells less strong than the DW Home Birthday Cake candle, but it is still pretty good!
DW Home Candle Frosted Cupcake
Frosted Cupcake is a staple in the pink community, as it’s not only aesthetically pleasing, it smells pretty good too, like a frosted vanilla cupcake.
Yankee Candle Movie Night Cocoa
Movie Night Cocoa is the best smelling cocoa candle I’ve ever smelled. It doesn’t smell overwhelmingly of chocolate like other candles; it is balanced out by the sweet scent of marshmallows and vanilla.
Lyght Candle Co XOXO
The XOXO candle from Lyght Candle Co smells very sweet-I think I can detect peonies in the scent, and peonies always smell sweet in candles.
You’re Sweet smells very fruity and sweet, with notes of watermelon, cantaloupe, and honeydew with a hint of ripe casaba.
What are your favorite non-BBW candles?

Great list! We definitely have similar tastes in candle scents. I love a cake-scented candle!
Thank you!
These all sound lovely! I’m definitely a candle lover, and I have a weak spot for sweet candles. I’ll have to try some of these out. Thanks for sharing! x
The birthday cake candle sounds amazing 😍 I actually love ‘fresh linen’ scented candles, I just think they smell so fresh and I love lighting them especially after cleaning!
Thank you! I love the occasional fresh linen candle as well!
