Hello, my loves! Here is a little portfolio of all the photos that I took over the years of all my visits to Longwood Gardens.
Where is Longwood Gardens?
Longwood Gardens is a fairly large botanical garden located in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania. The gardne boasts over 1000 acres of beautiful gardens, meadows, and woodlands. It is in the Brandywine Creek Valley.
What you can find in the gardens
Longwood Gardens changes their flowers seasonally (every 3-4 months), so you can find a variety of flowers and shrubs outside and inside their Conservatory.
My first ever visit to Longwood Gardens was in September of 2017. All of these photos were taken with an iPhone 6S.
Fall 2018 was when they had a Lunar Festival as well as their Blue Festival. Every flower in the Conservatory was either chrysanthemums or blue/purple.
These photos contain mainly experimental dahlias. At Longwood Gardens, there is an Idea Garden where horticulturalists try to grow different types of flowers, mostly Dahlias.
This was after I’d gotten my Canon EOS Rebel T7i, aka my trusty DSLR. I loved experimenting with the camera, and look how many beautiful photographs I took!
May 2022 was my latest visit to the gardens. We took my aunt, and there were a lot of spring plants. This visit was especially good as I was able to see the Japanese wisteria trees in bloom. Previously, I was unable to see them in bloom as I either went too early or too late.
